Creative workshops
Meetings with the author
The Gallery organises meetings with the author for groups (the youth of lower and upper secondary schools, the adults), part of which consists in the artist’s telling visitors about his art and showing them around the Gallery. It is also possible to screen one of the films about the artist. A meeting with the author may be arranged by phone or personally. A meeting programme may be adapted to the needs and interests of a specific group.
Creative workshops
Once a month we organise workshop meetings for the youth. A 4-hour programme is composed of: Andrzej Strumillo’s lecture on art accompanied by a slide show or a film presentation, and a workshop for the youth under the master’s eye. The major purpose of workshops is to shape the esthetical sensitivity of young people, gather knowledge as regards history of art, and to attempt to creatively express themselves during workshops.
